Abstract

Immigration poses a challenge to society and therefore to the school. Provision for immigration will shape a specific social policy, either based on exclusion or inclusion. In this article, we intend to approach the educative reality of maghrebi students in the schools in the Region Murcia after the results obtained in a research project aimed at describing, analysing and assessing the provision for cultural diversity in order to establish proposals that may introduce change and improvement. In this way, we will be presenting some data that will allow us to draw an updated picture of the Region of Murcia. At the same time, we will be showing the analysis process and we will propose the necessary changes to develop and materialise an intercultural project.
