Abstract

The protection of health data has its maximum expression in the patient's clinical history, because the aforementioned concept is linked to the necessary privacy and confidentiality of the information stored. Every day, health professionals see millions of patients who give their most intimate data to people and organizations that are responsible for its conservation and proper use. Issues such as the right of access to that information or the responsibility for non-compliance with the basic duties established in the regulations make this subject one of the most interesting within the discipline known as health law.
