Laburpena

Throughout our study we analyze textual aspects within the narrative elicited in the population of hearing impaired children with cochlear implants. For this, we have two population groups: a control group, without auditory deficits, and another group of children with hearing impaired implants in which we have analyzed the presence of co-referential, cohesive, and updating elements. After the transcription of the samples and their analysis, we can affirm that the language of the implanted hypoacoustic children is characterized by a lower presence of co-referential elements, a smaller variety of cohesive elements, as well as a less discursive updating
