Abstract

In the 21st century the model of Fordist production is inevitably replaced by a new model that inevitably entails a drastic reduction in the supply of wage labor. Faced with this reality is necessary to look for new alternatives and thus emerges “entrepreneurship”, encouraged by the legislator, which directs much of the active employment policies to its development. However, self-employment is hardly compatible with the conciliation of family and professional life, so the Spanish legislator in recent years has arranged a series of conciliation measures for entrepreneurs, with which the differences between subordinate work and self-employment are increasingly dissipated and women's self-employment is strengthened as an active employment policy, in accordance with the dictates of the European Union. This paper will analyze those measures of conciliation of the entrepreneur in Spain and how they affect the evolution of the traditional working modalities.
