Resumen

El presente trabajo de revisión persigue el objetivo de conocer las diferentes variables que influyen en la agresión en deportistas y los métodos e instrumentos utilizados para su evaluación. Se revisaron artículos originales publicados en las bases de datos de PubMed, Scopus, PsycInfo, Web of Knowledge y en la red Research Gate. Después de la búsqueda, se seleccionaron 70 trabajos de investigación, que hablaban de la temática de la agresión en deportistas. Tras la revisión de la literatura se agrupó en variables personales (género, orientaciones de meta, edad, ajuste emocional, entre otras) y variables ambientales (cultura, tipo de deporte, padres, entrenador, años compitiendo, variable ganar-perder, medios de comunicación, entre otras). Por último, en el ámbito de la evaluación de la agresión en deportistas, destacan el uso de los cuestionarios, las actas arbitrales y la observación, y con menor prevalencia el uso de la entrevista.
