Análisis de la producción científica sobre los efectos cognitivos de la actividad física en la enfermedad de Alzheimer

Este estudio pretende analizar la literatura científica publicada referente a los efectos cognitivos de la actividad física en personas con enfermedad de Alzheimer (EA).Se buscaron artículos que trataran principalmente los efectos cognitivos de la actividad física en personas con EA, encontrando finalmente 35 artículos. En cuanto a la evolución temporal, se observa una tendencia creciente de publicaciones con el paso de los años. Cabe destacar la gran variedad y heterogeneidad de autores principales y revistas. Geográficamente, los países con mayor número de publicaciones son Estados Unidos y Brasil, destacando sobre el resto.Teniendo en cuenta estos resultados, podemos concluir que el estudio de los efectos en aspectos cognitivos y propios de la enfermedad propiciados por la actividad física es un campo de estudio relativamente nuevo en el que debemos profundizar.
