Resumen

The article has two aims. Firstly to analyze the main strategies held and applied by students of English in the Official School of Languages in the acquisition of English as a second language, and secondly to identify the use and consideration of linguistic mobility for learning English. Both objectives are examined within the economic and social crisis currently experienced in Spain. The analysis is based on an empirical study obtained from information provided on said objectives and is structured according to variables of age, sex, level of English and activity.
