Resumen
The studies related to sport career transition have increased substantially over the past thirty years, through to the development of theoretical frameworks, instruments, and body of knowledge influenced by research lines in United States, Europe and Australia. Cross-National studies have appeared in response to cultural differences of athletes in different countries. At the same time, career assistance programs were established in many parts of the world with the aim of integrate athletes into society in the best way possible. This study offers some recommendations as an intervention means and support strategies for athletes in transition.
