Efecto agudo del estiramiento sobre la agilidad y coordinación de movimientos rápidos en jugadores de fútbol de División de Honor

Resumen
La realización de estiramientos como parte del calentamiento es una práctica generalizada en el mundo deportivo, aunque sus beneficios están todavía cuestionados. Por ello, el objetivo de este estudio fue analizar.el efecto agudo del estiramiento sobre la agilidad y coordinación de movimientos rápidos en jugadores de fútbol. Se realizó un estudio aleatorio controlado de medidas repetidas, en el que participaron 28 jugadores hombres de fútbol (edad 17,6 ± 0,8 años; peso 71,96 ± 7,9 kg; talla 177,66 ± 5,85 cm). Todos los sujetos fueron aleatoriamente distribuidos en 3 grupos: estiramientos estáticos-pasivos (n=9), estiramientos estáticos-activos (n=11) y estiramientos dinámicos (n=8). Todos los grupos realizaron un calentamiento estándar de 10 minutos de carrera, seguido de la valoración de la agilidad a través de un circuito en forma de T. Esta prueba de valoración fue repetida después de que cada sujeto completase la rutina de estiramientos que previamente le fue asignada. No se encontraron diferencias significativas (p>0.05) en el tiempo empleado en completar la prueba de agilidad tras la aplicación de las rutinas de estiramiento, independientemente de la técnica empleada Por ello este estudio sugiere que rutinas de estiramiento de corta duración podrían no alterar el rendimiento en pruebas de agilidad en jugadores de fútbol de División de Honor.
