Abstract
An increasing number of nursing degrees is incorporating computer-based learning in their classrooms. For new educational models to succeed, it is essential to implement measures to ensure the quality of these learning systems. This paper makes two contributions: (1) presenting a review of relevant literature regarding the quality of virtual resources in nursing education, (2) evaluating a web-based learning system that has been applied to a medical-surgical nursing course in an institution of higher education.
