Resumo
Traditional agroecosystems exhibit exceptional landscape, environmental and cultural values, which have been underestimated in agrarian and conservation policies, and in the society as well. Here we describe the current situation with our rich agrarian heritage, and the urgent needs for recovering and conservation. Strategies in the management of traditional agrobiodiversity are also discussed.
