Résumé

This work studies the relationships between sport factors (competition category, playing tactical position, time of competitive practice) and injuries on football players of junior categories ninety-two players, belonging to the same club, were object of study. The results show significant differences between the category of competition and injuries, and between time of game and injuries. That is to say, players from the eldest (cadete) category get injured more frequently than players in intermediate (infantil) and youngest (alevin) category. At the same time, the most injured players are those playing from 22 to 28 matches, following by those playing more than 28 matches. No significant differences are found between tactical position of the player and injury. We can affirm that as the competitive level, increases injuries will be increased.
