Narcissus tortifolius Fern. Casas, section x Dubii Fern. Casas, was described from specimens of gypsicolous brushwoods of Sorbas (Almería). Further, new locations was discovered in Almería and Murcia in other substrates. Two populations in Almería and three in Murcia was selected in order to study the general biology of the taxon. This work shows the preliminary results about phenomorphology, flower production, fruit and seed production, habitat, etc. These results improve the knowledge of this endemic taxon in order to his conservation.
