Abstract

This paper presents the analysis of an innovative teaching experience designedwithin the framework of the course " Family and School . Parent Training " of theMaster in Research and Innovation in Early Childhood and Primary Education withinthe Call for Educational Innovation Experiences in the Virtual Classroom Course2012/13 at the University of Murcia. It presents the main results of a research projectrelated to the creation of a virtual learning community as well as a reflection on thedevelopment and implementation of ICT-based activities and collaborative learningand , more specifically, the concept learning community . Improvement activities ofteaching that have been done include different techniques and working proceduresfocused to the enhancement of learning and assessment of skills , participation ofstudents in the classroom and the development of digital skills both teacher as thestudents
