Résumé
The industrial development of the Region of Murcia is closely related tothe appearance of electrical energy. The adaptation of dynamos and other electrical elements to the mills and fulling mills that were on the banks of the Segurariver, led to the appearance of a new source of power generation that resulted inan increase in manufacturing production, in addition to the surface irrigated. Thisdevelopment began in the Vega Alta, which had a consolidated esparto grass andfabric industry. In addition, the presence of hydraulic mills and ice factories facilitated the installation of the dynamos to these artifacts. In this way, the first lightfactories arose, which would later be transformed into hydroelectric plants, whichbegan to be inserted into the riverside landscape, and which is part of the culturalheritage of the Ricote Valley
