Abstract

The submission arises from the concern of teachers to improve the teaching-learningprocess. Motivation is one of the variables having a direct influence on thedevelopment of the process and, therefore, on the results obtained. In this sense, puzzles are presented as tools that can be used as review activities, strengtheningand/or evaluation of knowledge, being a very advantageous method of individuallearning and collaborative learning further. The activities presented have beenprepared as a part of teaching materials for a course in the 2nd year of the Degree inEnvironmental Science, where some level of demotivation has been detected in thestudents (Techniques of Instrumental Analysis), but of course they could be appliedto any subject with similar content. Moreover, these activities can be adapted to bothface and non-face classes and can be used in both cases as study tools and reviewor assessment. Word searches, crosswords, riddles, panels luck and games forrelation by arrows have been developed, as examples of puzzles adapted to thecontents of Instrumental Analysis
