Resumen

The implementation of undergraduate degrees at Spanish Universities, following theBologna Process, has meant the introduction of the Final Project Work (FPW). In thispaper we analyse the valuation criteria of FPW at the Faculty of Economy andBusiness (FEB) at the University of Murcia. We propose an alternative approach, taking into account its potential advantages and disadvantages. Previously we studycompetency evaluation from a theoretical point of view, since it has gainedimportance with respect to traditional ones, and it involves the use of appropriatetools to evaluate the level of development and achievement of competences.Furthermore, we explain the process of implementation of FPW at FEB, consideringall process from the supply issues by the Academic Committee to its evaluation.
