Abstract

In the last years the use of virtual platforms has become really common in theuniversity environment. These platforms enable the exchange of information anddocumentation between teachers and students, and the establishment of new formsof communication and work. In the virtual platform available at the University ofMurcia there are many tools. Some of them are used frequently, as the repository ofmaterials and messaging tools, while others are not. In the field of Statistics, and inthe context of statistical inference in normal populations, we show in this paper aclassroom experience in which we have used a combination of the tools provided inthe virtual platform at the University of Murcia, in order to improve the understandingof some statistical concepts by our students.
