Abstract

Higher education has undergone a very deep reform since the Spanish Universities had to adapt to the European Spaceof Higher Education (ESHE). This includes new teaching methodologies which allow a broader participation of thestudents and encourage the self-learning by them. In order to pay a proper attention to this new target and achieve goodresults, most of the Universities have incorporated the use of the new technologies of information as well as the virtualplatforms. These instruments are of extreme importance for a closer relationship between faculty and students speciallywhen it comes to evaluate the level of acquired competence as it is required in the new plans
