Climate change (CC) is a crisis facing humanity and education must play a key role in ensuring that students feel involvedand qualified to make decisions compatible with a sustainable future. However, there are difficulties among students inunderstanding CC, its causes and consequences, and in recognizing daily actions aimed at its mitigation. Here we pres-ent an educational proposal for middle school, aimed at helping students to overcome these difficulties, building solidrelationships between the CC and their lifestyle. The preliminary results show that it seems to favour more significantconceptions about the CC and, although they recognize the need to adopt changes in their daily life in order to manageto stop it, they doubt about its effectiveness.
