Resumen
In the current context, there is growing interest in the development of quality rankings of universities. Such rankings are useful in making decisions of potential students. Therefore, the methodology used in order to obtain the rankings should ensure the reliability, validity and usefulness of the ordinations. This paper applies DEA-Profit to Spanish public universities to obtain rankings according to teaching and research productivity. The results show that there is not association between the rankings.
