Résumé

The spatial phenomenon of land abandonment affects diverse environments, generally related to traditional agriculture crisis and, in semiarid environments, to agriculture intensification as well. The geomorphological consequences are important, either in a positive way (edaphic and vegetal recuperation) or in a negative way (increase of erosive processes). The general aim in this paper is to evaluate different geomorphological evidences, as a result of land abandonment, in all Murcia Region. Data of erosion risk from INES have been crossed with an own cartography of abandonment land in Murcia Region. After that, work has been moved to a plot scale. The results of a geomorphological evidences sample of 85 plots in different kinds of lithology are presented. The more severe geomorphological effects (gully erosion, pipes, unprotected soil, crust…) are observed in marls substratum, while in metamorphic substratum (schists and phyllites) the effects are mitigated. It is concluded that abandoned land management should take in consideration these environmental particularities, so it cannot be the same for every environment.
