Abstract

Teaching strategies based on the Webquest are becoming increasingly popular in all the universities around the world.The purpose of this application is to guide the students in the search and investigation of a task, giving them thenecessary tools to complete the process. The objective is that the student acquire the proficiency to develop their worksuccessfully in the real life. This approach tends to describe the development of a Webquest specially designed for thesubject Physical Activity in Ageing (Degree in Sciences of Physical Activity and Sports, University of Murcia). In it, the Webquest is divided into several sections: introduction, task, proccesses and resources, evaluation and conclussions.Every section is explained and exemplified using the content of the present Webquest. This paper aims to provideadditional ideas that motivate the use of TICs as a teaching tool within the university
