Résumé

The goal of this research is to have more insight into disciplined and undisciplined behavior that take place during Physical Education classes, in order to set action guidelines that encourage disciplined behavior and discourage undisciplined behavior in the classroom. With this aim, the term discipline is conceptualized regarding the educational environment, the main causes of undisciplined behavior are pointed out, and different intervention proposals are presented. Then, based on outstanding subject related research, prospective research is outlined. The outcome of these studies reveal, in general terms, that disciplinary problems appear in every single area of the curricula. These problems might have a deep impact on the students' teaching-learning process and can seriously affect teachers' performance.
