Abstract

Through a bibliographic review, the aim is to reflect on the importance of incorporating career guidance throughout higher education and to motivate the construction of a professional and personal project of each student that favors the transition into a productive life. This theoretical proposal integrates a model of employability that is based on fostering the personal and profession identity of each university student through a continuous process of training and career guidance throughout the entirety of one's higher education experience. Understanding and integrating the importance of working with the employability of students from the moment they begin their journey at university with this proposed model can represent new opportunities to carry out psychopedagogical intervention proposals for career guidance and its organisms in accordance with the training-guidance-employment triangle.
