Análisis del consumo de información en la revista Fisioterapia (1991-1999)

Zusammenfassung

Objective. Analyze information consumption in the Fisioterapia journal in the period between the years 1991 to 1999 both inclusive. Design. Retrospective longitudinal descriptive study. Material and method. 2,221 references have been revised contained inclusive in 162 original articles of the Fisioterapia journal . Of each reference it has been gathered: year, the date that it appear, type of documentation. In the event of journal: their name, origin country and language. Statistical program SPSS 9.0 has been used for the management and analysis of the data. It was determined: type of documents, origin country, annual evolution, half life of documents, Bradford´s journal and areas, and insularity of the Fisioterapia journal . Results. The analyzed references come from 860 articles of journals (49,3%), Spanish 59 of them, followed by 43.4% of books, highlighting in 7% remaining the scientific congress, with an index of 7 year-old aging The nucleus of Bradford is constituted by three journals: Fisioterapia, the most mentioned one, followed by Physical Therapy and Ortopedia y Traumatología, being Spanish and English the predominant languages. The insularity is of 26.5%. Conclusions. The documentation type used by the authors of the articles of the Fisioterapia journal, a near pattern continues to the social and human sciences. A similar pattern presents with regard to disciplines as the medicine and the public health, but with a smaller percentage of journals, although this type of references accuses an important ascent in the last triennium.
