Zusammenfassung

The purpose was of this paper was to study the mechanics of spike in volleyball using the biomechanics in order to understand the characteristics of this movement. This paper analyses the factors that determine the mechanical efficiency of spike, determining their importance, the possibility of improvement, and reference values of these kinematic parameters. From this information it is possible to set the key aspects of movement, errors and their influence on the movement. This information can serve as a guide to establish technical and physical training for the spike.
