Resumen

In this current document, we analyse the varying opinions of student teachers on the creation of an eportfolio implemented in one of the two most commons approaches: eportfolio as product or process. For this study, two groups of students have been compared, from Early Childhood Education and Primary Education of the University of the Balearic Islands (n=81) and Murcia (n=63). The research is based on a profound revision of the literature about both designs of eportfolio focusing on essential tasks such as documentation of learning, reflection and collaboration. Findings are absorbing because the differences explored are reduced to a range of nuances in student teachers’ perceptions. On the one hand, results allow us to observe that both approaches can be equally valuable, despite the different strategies carried out. On the contrary, they are interesting because they explore eportfolios in the light of more integrative.
