Resumo

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the main activities within an innovative educational project that works with traditional childrens games within schools. These activities make use of technologies as a way of supporting the practical work. The increased interest in traditional childrens games can be verified by the greater use of them within educational programs, their inclusion in the official curricula and in a variety of educational programs. The new technologies available within the school environment are creating new forms of working and planning in Physical Education. From a legal point of view, their inclusion is becoming increasingly noticeable. This proposal highlights the learning tools that make use of new technologies while respecting the traditional contents of traditional childrens games. This project sets out to provide a sample of the unifying nature of tradition and modernity applied to Physical Education within schools.
