Abstract
Five zones burnt in different years were studied in the S.E. Spain in order to stablish the pattern of the bryophyte secondary succession. In these zones, permanent plots of 1 m2 were set and sampled during 36 months twice a year, considering bryophyte cover, and fugacity of the species for each sapling. High cover valúes and high stability of pioneer species in earlier fires were some results obtained.
