Abstract

The examination of cadavers was carried out using a security scanner, as a previous step to the radiological study and later judicial autopsy. The result obtained through this technique shows us a complete image of the body, in which bone structu- res can be seen as well as the presence of foreign bodies with the possibility of directing the judicial autopsy in a clear way. The resulting images show the existence of projectiles, pacemakers, fractured bones and even cardiac clogs; moreover, a file can be created with a complete image of each of the cadavers studied.
