Resumen

The aim of this collaboration is to raise conflict management and the assumption of commitment in the new forms of relationships that are generated in the virtual interactions. The results showed here have been extracted from a survey conducted in Spain, to a sample of youth and adolescents, digital natives and digital immigrants of both sexes, consisting of three age strata: 1) 14 to 16 years; 2) from 17 to 24 years, 3) 25 to 35 years. The study shows that there is a parallelism between the face life and virtual context in managing conflict situations and that people feel equally committed to each other in virtual relationships. The network is presented as a privileged relationship space where it is possible the feasibility of the interaction and its difficulties, the commitment and the sense of community building.
