Doctor by the Universidad de Murcia with the thesis Diseño y evaluación de unidades formativas para la enseñanza de competencias de pensamiento histórico en educación secundaria 2025. Supervised by Dr. Cosme Jesús Gómez Carrasco, Dr. Jairo Rodríguez Medina, Dr. Raquel Sánchez Ibáñez.

PhD with distinction and an international specialisation in Social Sciences Education (2025). Bachelor’s degree in History (2020), Master’s degree in History and Historical Heritage (2021) and Master’s degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Sixth Form, Vocational Training, Language Teaching and Arts Education, specialising in Geography and History (2022), from the University of Murcia. Certified at C1 level in English through the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations (2022). Graduate in Professional Music Education from the Murcia Conservatory of Music (2017). Recipient of the 2020 Research Initiation Grants from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia. Recipient of an FPI pre-doctoral contract from the Ministry of Science and Innovation in the Social Sciences Didactics research group. Currently a Lecturer at the Public University of Navarra. His doctoral thesis focused on the design and evaluation of teaching units for the instruction of historical thinking skills in upper secondary education. The aim was to design, validate, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching units to improve the teaching-learning process of historical thinking skills among upper secondary students, with a view to fostering critical citizens, based on epistemological and methodological changes.
