Abstract
The use of manipulative resources in science teaching is widely accepted and recommended. But, currently, due to the preventive health measures against COVID19, these manipulative resources have been replaced by other elements, mostly digital. In order to verify that the effectiveness of physical resources with respect to digital resources is similar, future primary school teachers. The results obtained have yielded very similar data between the students who worked with physical models and those who worked with digital models. Therefore, future primary school teachers give more importance to the explanation with manipulative resources before the format of these resources.
