Abstract
During the past few months, a poetry book, that was considered lost, has been recovered. It is a collection of poems compiled in a feuilleton from the disappeared newspaper, El padre Morote, which was one of the countless Lorca newspapers at the end of the XIX century. In the pages of this book you will find published and unpublished compositions signed by a distinguished group of poets of the city. This examination and study will permit you to discover all the formal elements and contents of a poetry which is situated in the late Romanticism period, with a wide variety of themes and, in many cases, focused on the historic moment of its development.
