Abstract

The Convent of San Francisco (Mula, Murcia) has its origin in 1574. After its disentailment in 1836 and its subsequent sale, the building began to degrade and transform. After a meticulous process of historical and archaeological research, the monument has been restored, recovering significant elements of its architecture and ornamental decoration. The building has become the Museum of the City, where the visitor can enjoy the cultural legacy of Mula.
